Julie progress
The hardest part seems to be over. We have finished the course of drips, but we continue to inject antibiotics. But the main thing is that I already see the former Julie - benevolent, curious, sociable. The indifference that appeared in them with the onset of the disease disappeared from her eyes. Her apathy was so great that it scared me.
Now I often think that if it hadn't been for the evacuation a year ago, she would have died somewhere in the war zone from purulent inflammation. Unless, of course, she had died earlier. Her health and safety is what is worth my efforts, my fatigue and lack of sleep. I look at her and think how much I love this dog, I didn't even know about its existence a year ago.
Yesterday, despite my own condition and high temperature, I spent several hours with her in the clinic. I just lay down next to him on the floor and waited for the dripper to do its job. I didn't want to leave Julie alone for a minute so that she wouldn't think she was dumped again.
I'll tell you that she still has clear signs of recovery. She started growling and trying to bite in response to painful injections ๐ This is a sure sign.
