Battle Mage Weekly Challenge: Even Stevens
Introduction
Hello everyone! Welcome back to my Battle Mage Weekly Challenge post featuring the Even Stevens ruleset!
Battle Ruleset
Even Stevens ruleset allows only monsters with even mana cost to be used in the battle. This ruleset does not apply to Summoners.
Featured battle allowed only Water and Dragon elements to be played with a total mana cap of 25. The ruleset combination was complete with Are You Not Entertained? and Earthquake rulesets.
My Team:
Quix the Devious slows the enemy team by 1 stage and provides a decrease of Ranged damage to the opposing team. In this battle, Quix allows me to play all of the available elements, which is always welcome.
Baakjira is my frontliner of choice. It is capable of winning battles on its own since Earthquake ruleset puts a timer on all monsters without Flying. On top of that, in the case of Fatigue, Baakjira also wins quite a lot.
Chaos Dragon is the Damage dealer on my team. It is capable of dishing out insane amounts of Magic damage with Scattershot and Blast abilities and has Flying so it doesn't take any damage from the Earthquake.
Torrent Fiend is here to take a hit instead of Chaos Dragon in case my opponent brought a Sneak attacker.
Battle Strategy
My battle strategy was to outlast my opponent with Baakjira while Chaos Dragon blasts away. This strategy was perhaps risky, since it is always better to bring a full roster of 6 monsters to the battle.

Turn 4
Diemonshark misses my Chaos Dragon this turn, which at the time seemed important, but in the end, didn't matter.

Conclusion
In the end, the combination of Baakjira and Chaos Dragon proved to be stronger than the team my opponent brought, even though it was led by Lux Vega.
