My First Time Tasting Coffee with Moringa
Hello again hivers! I hope everyone is doing well. It's me again toniagurl dropping in your newsfeed.
It's been a regular day - same routine as a full-time mom and housewife. I took my daughter to her school at morning for the last day of school year 2024-2025. Way back home I passed at my sister-in-law sari-sari store and something caught my eyes. She is hanging a coffee, and it is interesting it has moringa in it- commonly known as malunggay in the Philippines. And we all know moringa is powerful when it comes to boosting energy and overall wellness. I pause for a moment chatting with my sis in law and decided to grab one and give it a try later.
When I got home, I took my breakfast, and my mother returns my son. After some bonding time, he slowly drifted into sleep. That peaceful moment gave me a short break which I rarely get during the day. I took advantage of the quiet moment and made myself the moringa coffee I had bought earlier.
It was surprisingly good; the aroma is soothing. It was a unique blend, I can taste the moringa, slightly herbal but comforting. I felt ready to face the chores waiting for me.
While sipping my warm coffee I started to arrange my pile of freshly washed clothes. I go to work folding and sorting them. It wasn't a relaxing break but somehow, having that warm coffee made the task lighter.
As a full-time mom having coffee is simple yet it is very special time to me, for a period short of time I can pause and relax. Though it is small things, but we have to take time to recharge to dive into other responsibilities. Today a simple moringa coffee turned a regular day into something a little more refreshing.
Thats all for today's blog. I hope you like it and thank you for reading my post. Keep safe and God bless everyone.
