tomster-17 - Introduction Post
Hello and howdy folks!
New to Hive but I'm really liking what I'm seeing so far, everyone has been very kind and recommended an introduction post and given me some tips on how to do this. Here we go:
My name is Barry Allen and I-no wait hold on that's something else.
My name is Tom and I have always loved the number 17.
I was raised by my paternal grandparents, my mom and dad are still alive and I have a relationship with my dad.
I don't mind being the weird friend, as you can see from the photo below where I attended a masked ball at my wifes college:

Interests and DND
I have always loved fantasy books, writings and movies, which includes a massive love of D&D and Warhammer 40k. I enjoy writing and blogging, I have a blog where I write about my Christian beliefs, and I have another blog where i am slowly putting our local D&D campaign to words.
I have completed Curse of Strahd, started Dungeon of the Mad Mage but that group has faded, I have DM'd a campaign to completion for my brother and one sister, I am currently DMing a campaign for seven players (if I wasn't losing my hair before...) and I have run a number of one shots, including one for a group of neurodivergent kiddos.
When we were all trapped in our homes, I began working on a project to make the simplest to get-learn-and-understand RPG that has only now really started to come close to a final form. I was hoping to have it ready for external playtests by June, but here we are.
I was recommended to check out Hive by @zakludick and I'm looking forward to getting to know the lovely people here, contributing and just having a jolly time with all of you.
Yours chained to the back of an angry owlbear
