Shades of darkness

I promise,
To stay in the darkness where I belong,
Where shadows can’t fight,
what this inner me likes,
My strength will not dissolve,

Screaming towards the above,
Voice echoes till no sound,
Sins define this pretense,
Laughing, still wearing this frown,

Comfort in this cold dark stay,
I find my thoughts of fury,
Badgering a world I dread,
I think I’m just dead,
Feeling there’s no resolve,
All this darkness just consumes,
My world had just evolved,

This is what soothes,
Envisioning what life seeks,
In tune with my own silence,
The darkness is where I breed,
Thoughts that seem to paralyze,
The past tense reminding,
This defeat of losing pride,
My soul I find designing,
Balance is what I fear,
The longer I stay,
As This world just shades,
Into the darkness ....... I disappear,
