My New Skateboard Deck & Wheels

From Santa Cruz to Deathwish. I decided to get a Deathwish deck again because I wanted a deck with a "Steep Concave" shape to make my flip tricks more responsive. I've been using my Santa Cruz deck for almost 18 months, and it's a good deck, but it's just a "Medium Concave" deck. Since Deathwish has a lot of decks with a steep concave shape, I decided to buy one, and luckily I found online a Deathwish deck with a 40% off sale, and without any hesitation, I bought it right away.

The Deck

Jon Dickson is a pro model of my new Deathwish skateboard deck, and I've been watching his video part, and he is a super rad skater. This deck is an 8.25, the same size as my Santa Cruz. The graphic design is kinda cool, but I'm not a fan of "Grim Reaper." But it doesn't matter; it's just a skateboard deck.

After I tried some tricks, my first impression about this deck. First, I really felt the depth of the concave since, as I said, this deck is a steep concave, so it creates more high edges than a medium concave.

Second, my Kickflip looks pretty good on this deck, and it's really easy to flip. Overall, this deck is pretty amazing and fun to use.

The Wheels

By the way, before I forgot, I also bought new wheels, and I'm more excited to use my new wheels than my new deck. From OJ wheels 54mm 101A Hardline shape to Bones X-Formula V5 54mm 99A. The Bones X-Formula wheels are good for smooth ground, especially on rough roads, since these wheels are good for all terrain.

After I tried my new Bones X-Formula Wheels, my first impression of these wheels is pretty damn good, and that is true; these wheels are better for the rough road compared to my previous wheels. It is also easy to flip using these wheels; it's kinda a little bit softer than my previous wheels, but it slides like hard wheels. Overall, the Bones X-Formula V5 Sidecut is a pretty damn good wheel.

P.S.: I've been playing skateboarding since 2005 and started filming and editing in 2011. On the TWS skate video, you'll find a random of tricks and behind skateboarding, we are not pro skaters we just skate for fun and I really love this.
