The longer you hang on to it, the more they restrict your progress, the excuses are like stumblers. Anything for which you apologize is never done, as excuses promote inaction by giving you very good reasons why you should not have done what you should have done.
Excuses kill hopes, distorted vision, daunting obstacles, disregard opportunities, facilitate inaction, diminish exuberance, delay in achievement, harbor procrastination, kill inspiration, disassociate from fact and destroy hope. As soon as a man wants to apologize, that is the very moment his life begins to regress.
For the giver of reasons, reasons often sound rather reasonable. They sometimes feel sharp and intelligent. However, the truth is that it keeps you. It holds you for years on the same level without you understanding that your life is standing still.
