Patience

I woke up this morning and came across this beauty pawpaw plant in my compound. Taking a close look at it i discovered that flowers are gradually sprouting out from the plant.
The flowering stage is a very important stage in fruit bearing. For any plant to bear fruit, it must pass through this stage.
As I was busy obseving this plant, a bible verse came to my mind concerning waiting upon the coming of Christ the Lord, where refernce was made to how the farmer waits patiently for the yields from his farm throughout the rainy season(James 5:7)
This made me realised that a farmer is one of the most patient being on earth. If only we can imitate the attitude of farmers then some opportunities that has passed us by in this life wouldn't have occurred.
Beloved friends, lets imbibe the attribute of being patient in whatever we do, because ptience is a virtue and we can't afford to slack in this aspect of life.
