Bitter Sweet Sunday
Bitter sweet Sunday…. Its only bitter because it is right before Monday. The ending to our weekend adventures, a reminder that our adult work week begins again tomorrow. The same cycle over and over.
But what is the sweet part? Growing up, if I was staying with my grandparents, it meant going to church. After church it meant going back to grandmas house and smelling the delicious sunday dinner that was left to cook in the crockpot. The smell filled the whole house. Meat balls or roast. So yummy. The smell, the routine, left a long lasting positive memory on a day that represents a 50/50 split if the week will be good or bad.
If I start crockpotting on Sundays, it might bring a bit more happiness to my work week cycle???
Just a thought.
