Vajra
Watching
Waiting
One by one being unfolds
Like a butterfly
In original (aboriginal) harmony
With animals, wind, all life -
Waiting on the known edge
For the invisible world with no lies
To turn to foreground
Bright diamonds of truth
Cutting through illusions
To turn with the sun’s blessing
Toward a truly new day -
Trust, with its arms outstretched,
Spat-out knowledge of evil,
Forgiveness (or there is no future
No calm waters, only vortices
Of reruns, challenges and victories
And defeats with no prize but remorse
Or voracious pride eating all innocence).
Turn back the magnetic sins
And self-accusations we hold dear.
Ancient mistakes no longer serve us.
Exorcise the haunted attic.
Open to dazzling day.
Pray.
Watch.
Wait.
