
10^6 Blocks on EOS.IO Dawn 2.0
A bit of holiday news from the EOS.IO Software development team.
Earlier today on Testnet2, we added our millionth block.
Testnet1 is in fine form as I write this, and at 953k blocks should pass the million mark shortly.
These are milestones that indicate both how well the software is behaving, and how much faster we run compared to other similar general purpose blockchain platforms.
We're using version 233ba4e5, which equates to the tag STAT-2017-12-21 found here: https://github.com/EOSIO/eos/releases/tag/STAT-2017-12-21.
