Inspired By Confidence

Whenever I look back and think about the things I have not accomplished, realizing how far away I am from the life I had dreamt for myself and the life I’m living now, I admire my audacity.

Whilst that is not a nice feeling, I’m not very mad about that because honestly speaking I know for a fact that I did not strive enough.

It’s one thing wanting something and an entirely different thing working towards something you want.

No one has ever told me that I’m confident or my confidence inspires them. However, I do like to think of myself as someone who’s very confident in all realms of endeavors and if anyone is to be inspired by anything about me, it should be confidence.

Not how confident I am, but how confident I’ve become and more importantly how positive I am about CONFIDENCE.

I was not born confident, no one is born confident. Confidence is built from doubt, hard work, and tears over the years.

In those times when you feel like you do not blend in with everyone but you still manage to crack a smile no matter how shy you feel, that’s CONFIDENCE.

Remember those times when there’s no one around to remind you how beautiful you are but you look into the mirror and tell yourself “I’m so beautiful”, that’s CONFIDENCE.

There are times when you stand outside all by yourself and you feel like everyone is judging how thin or fat you are, but you look away and you keep walking. That’s CONFIDENCE.

Embracing and nurturing confidence is not just a personal journey, it is a source of driving both personal and collective growth in myriad forms.

Confidence is remembering that you are a work in progress and this is not your final form.
