The EU’s 3 Billion Trees Plan: A Greener Future by 2030
https://forest.eea.europa.eu/policy-and-reporting/3-billion-trees
The EU wants to plant 3 billion new trees by 2030 to help nature, fight climate change, and make cities and forests healthier.
They made a website called MapMyTree where people can record the trees they plant.
The goal is to plant native trees in the right places like forests, farms, and cities.
But progress is slow, less than 1% of the goal has been reached so far.
But it is good that everyone can help by planting trees and logging them on the website. The school, communities, and other organizations can be a big help.
