Foraging Dandelions and Baking Biscuits with Coco

It’s that time of year again when dandelions bloom everywhere!

The surroundings are glowing with their vibrant golden yellow colour.

I love picking them because they just reappear the next day, filling the ground golden again.

This one was chosen especially for Coco’s beauty pose.

She wasn’t overly impressed.

Coco and I wander around gathering these nutritious little flowers.

She absolutely loves being outdoors with me!

She kept checking the basket, I'm not entirely sure what she was thinking!

We picked loads, some to dry and some to use for baking.

In the back garden, Coco chilled while I baked my dandelion biscuits.

What delicious, buttery, light dandelion biscuits we made! Yum with a hot cuppa.

And of course… Coco had to inspect everything! She jumped in to check, sniffed the biscuits carefully, but decided they were definitely not for her, haha!

I gave her a treat instead, and she watched me enjoy a few biscuits with great interest.
