Crispy Potato Skin Chips: Nutritious and Flavourful Zero-Waste Snack

I love finding ways to use every bit of what I cook, and these crispy potato skin chips are my favourite zero-waste nutritious snack. Potato skins are high in fibre that aids digestion and contain important nutrients like vitamin C, potassium, magnesium, and iron, which support bone health and boost immunity.

They're perfectly crunchy, super flavourful, and ridiculously easy to make.

You’ll get golden chips that are great on their own or with your favourite dip, and they’re healthier than store-bought snacks!

Crispy Potato Skin Crips/Chips 🥔
Ingredients:
2 cups of clean potato skins (from about 4-5 medium potatoes)
2 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
Freshly ground black pepper

Optional:
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions 🥔

Wash and thoroughly dry the potatoes, then peel the skins.

Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Spread the skins in a single layer on a tray

Cook in the air frier at 180 °F for 10-15 minutes , shaking halfway until crispy.

or
Bake in pre heated oven @ 400°F (200°C). Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden brown.

Sprinkle with fresh herbs or Parmesan for an extra punch of flavour!

Let it cool slightly for an extra crunch, and enjoy!

Serving Tips 🥔

Put in the cone greaseproof paper for an on-the-go snack.
