"Daily Build" for Ethgard Legends

Focused on rebalancing some of the heroes today.

This ranged from board buffs to redesigned abilities. My favourite is probably sharpshooter, which now deals increased damage to a random enemy unit and even destroys it on Tier 5. 🎯

Might just turn one of the weakest heroes into one of the strongest.

Today's progress:

Today's progress leaned more toward gameplay than onchain features, as the 7th season of 2025 is about to begin.

While features like the Equipment System are key to the long-term vision, gameplay updates are just as important for keeping things fun and competitive.

In March of 2025, around 200 people played at least one match.

• 30 players had over 10 matches
• 16 played more than 100 each
• And the top 10 ranged between 234 and 719 matches

That’s a lot of gameplay hours - and a lot of data.

Looking at it further, it was clear which heroes dominated and which ones feel behind. So the goal was to buff the underperformers, especially those barely showing up in survival leaderboard, arguably the mode where only the strongest are picked.

The next step will be to introduce new abilities and mechanics to bring even more variety to the game.
