How Do You Really Live In Excellence

Hey guys! I've been working recently as the leader of some students fellowship class and what an experience it has been!
This opportunity, among other things, has helped me build myself into the leader I wanted to become. And what other way can one function in a leadership role without having the spirit of EXCELLENCE.
Excellence is not a destination, it is an attitude or way of life. It also means living above average.
So how can one live an excellent or at least near-excellent life.
Here are some pointsth I think are note-worthy, you may want to try out:

• DISCOVER YOUR PURPOSE
  Our real life starts when we discover our purpose. Some persons go through life thinking and wondering if they are in the discipline or calling. Purpose is God's given. You have to connect to Him and get the right inclination and direction of what path you have to follow.

• FOLLOW YOUR PASSION
  Someone's passion is what he or she loves doing. It is what you can do for free without bothering about getting paid for it despite you putting resources into it (be it financial, mental or otherwise).
  What is your passion?
  -Uncover your authetic self

Being authentic means being true to who you really are. Many of us don't figure who we really are until we're far down the road being who we aren't. Once you ask the question, you open the door to discovering your authentic self.
What is your real personality? What are your natural interests and inclinations? What gets you excited and inspires you?

• HAVE THE RIGHT MINDSET
  Failure is not a destination; it is an occurence, an event. So do not beat yourself up if you make an attempt and fail at it. Just try again! Even Paul said in the Bible...

...though I fall seven times, I shall rise again

That's the spirit.
Have a positive mindset in all that you do. Do not dwell on the negatives of any situation. >>Become a possibilitirian, no matter how dark things seem to be or actually are, raise your sights and see possibilities, for they are always there.

Don't make excuses for why you can't get it done. Focus on all the reasons why you must make it happen.

• REDUCE YOUR LIMITS
  There is a popular saying about the sky being our limit but boy I tell you that is wrong in all entirety as it limits you. The only limit there is, is yourself - your mind. So try expand your resoning, think outside the box and man is the stage set for you!
