London is famous for being the only Canadian city that requires you to chart a drive plan to your destination, file it with the city comptroller, pay the applicable fees, have your plan stamped and approved by a select (Destination Management Board) committee of alderpersons, wait for receipt of your drive plan service and identification number, study and memorize any construction, flex roads, roads closed, new bicycle and E-bike access lanes, stops signs and stoplights, and speed management hardware that may have recently been added or altered along your submitted route, then study the committee approved/amended route and drive plan included in the package you receive along with your identification number, affix it in a visible place on your vehicle, and you're on your way.
