My physiological state was comfortably open and relaxed. I walked subtly, slowly and spread myself with a hint of swagger. I was a confident man. Strangers came up to me and trusted me with anything. Men with their girlfriends asked me for directions. This was important. I had discovered the secret to automatic higher status.
