The Difference Between Interest and Dedication in Music.

There was a time in my music career that I used to think that music is not for everyone, but along the line I got to realize that music is what everyone can do depending on your dedication and your love for it. Sometimes we do music the way we see it, and that is because we do not understand the depth to which music operates. Music has a lot of things embellished in it, and it is what helps connect a lot of things together, like cultural, social, and so on. Music has been helping right from the start of the generation, and it always will be and will continue to be because it improves daily.

Back in those days when I was still a kid, I saw different types of people playing musical instruments, and I wondered how it was very possible for them to do that, not knowing that I would still come to that point where I would be the one preaching music to people. I agree, from just seeing to doing it, and I am now loving it. The purpose of sharing this article today is because of what I have noticed of late about the way people treat music. After leaving my parents, I proceeded to the higher institution, and before getting there, I was able to learn music to some extent, and I also play a musical instrument, which is the guitar.

Now what I am driving at is that playing the musical instrument never just came because I said I wanted to play it, but I gave it all it takes, and then I was able to get people to put me through, and I learned more in the process. Then I became a guitarist. Now in the church I am currently going to, the choir master of the church is a kind of person that really loves music, so he wants the other fellow choir members to be able to do the type of music he likes so that when they are invited for programs, they will be able to prove themselves to people and showcase themselves.

But the story was not the same for the quiet members. Instead of them grabbing the opportunity online, do you prefer to act nonchalant because they think they saw the opportunity on a platter of gold? I advised the choir master never to bother because when the time comes, they will realize they have missed an opportunity that they might never get the chance to again. He pleaded and said he was going to talk to them. After some time, the instrumentalist in the church decided not to go again, and then after the other people noticed this was going to affect them, they now took it more seriously, and they now have to take account for everything they do both in the rehearsal and also away from the rehearsal.

Now they are all improving, and they are happy with themselves also. And I had to let them know that it is only when you have shown interest in doing something that you can get someone to help you and when you are not ready to do anything that will help yourself. You can never get someone to be of help to you because you have to show readiness first.
