Steemit - The flaws

Steemit is an amazing platform. One of the first to offer crypto monetary incentive for writing. However this also becomes one of its gaping flaws.

On Steemit, more than the writing everyone is mostly looking for upvotes. And I'm not Saint either, I too wanted them, but this has killed the quality of posts and the quality of the website all together.

The Steemit bots are another pesky issue. Almost half the website is full of bots. People are looking for profit on their upvotes more than their writing.

Lastly, the website design is a tad bit ugly. The Steemit website is cluttered and all over the place. More than a blogging platform, it's a posting platform. There is no way we can arrange our posts into blog items, or even hide the ones we don't like on our feed.

Overall, Steemit is really amazing, but it can be improved.
