My Introductory Post on Hive.

It kinda feels like the spotlight is on me.
It’s a privilege to hold your attention, I hope I don’t disappoint☺️.

Hello everyone,
It’s really nice to be here, finally 😩😅.
It’s been a long week, just trying to get onboarded due to network issues, but all thanks to an amazing friend, @Onos-f who was patient through the process.

I got introduced to the Hive by my dear friend Onos-f a little over a week ago. I was particularly intrigued by the idea that I could become a part of a community of creative people who love to blog and tell stories from their hearts.
I’ve always fancied starting a blog, but somehow I never really got to. Listened to Onos-f talk about Hive, and I knew it was a place to be.

Who is She?
My name is Margaret Okpamu, from Nigeria.
I am a Fashion Designer, a Fashion Stylist, a Fashion and Style Tutor, and I dare say a Singer 🤭 (well, still in the making 🙈).

I am intrigued by all things Art — Music, dance, fashion, writing, poetry, cooking, just name it.
I have my educational background in the Sciences, where I studied Genetics and Biotechnology in a reputable Nigerian University, but I guess it’s either life had other plans for me, or I underestimated my love for the arts☺️.

Either ways, I know that both the arts and the sciences are interwoven, as is evident in Nature itself.
I guess God covered the intricacies of His Creation with fine exteriors and lavish ornaments. ☺️

And Yes! I am a Christian.
I believe in God’s unending love and mercies.
I believe in Jesus Christ my Redeemer and Friend, and the Holy Spirit the Comforter and Paraclete.

Moving on.
I do think of myself as an Ambivert, though I enjoy more my introverted side as it allows me solitude of mind, to introspect, reflect and be one with my inner self.

Regardless, I’m always eager for a fun time out with trusted friends and close family, because I believe these are about the most valuable things in life.

I come from a close-knit family of eight, and I’ve been blessed with three amazing nieces:

While one is a fire-cracker and very unconventional 🤭,
The other is gentle but sharp-witted,
And the third is reserved but has the sweetest smile ever ☺️.
Believe me when I say it’s a life skill I’m learning just being their aunt 😂.
And I’m loving every moment of it 😍. (I’m eager to write about some of my escapades with them, but maybe in another blog 😊).

They are simply adorable 🥰.

I believe at the most, life isn’t fair. But what do I do with my lemons? I make lemonades🍸☺️.
Regardless of what life deals, I generally think myself a lucky girl:
To have an amazing support system (great friends and amazing family),
To enjoy my job,
To love the things I love,
And to be able to lose myself in Music.

I am quite eager to begin my journey on Hive.

I look forward to reading amazing blog posts, learning from you all and generally having new experiences.

I am eager to write on my passion for Fashion, my love of Music, and generally everything that gnaws at my mind’s strings.
