How My Day Went.

Oh boy! Been a minute here. Well, to answer the prompt I think I’ll just say how my day went then give a final verdict whether it was boring, stressful, interesting or chaotic lol!

Today started off okay. I woke up, turned on my laptop, checked my mails, the usual routine. Got ready and headed to work. The job? Teaching (atm tho) And let me tell you, teaching is NOT stress-free at all I’m sure you know but I just want to remind you 😩 You’re not just talking you’re managing 30+ humans, making sure nobody’s left behind, and keeping the class quiet. Some students are calm and some? cocky! Some come with a PhD in distraction. 🤦‍♀️ And me? I don’t tolerate noise in my class. So yeah… the morning took energy; lots of it.

After school, I rushed to the market. Got ingredients for dinner because, well, life doesn’t pause. Got home and switched hats immediately. I also work remotely with a gadgets store. And today, our website traffic went crazy. Clients, tasks from my boss all landing at once. I was replying, fixing, sending, updating tirelessly. Then I remembered I still have a teacher’s workload waiting. Set exams, mark assessments from last week and record them. Indeed, teaching doesn’t stop when the bell rings. Honestly? This phase of my life is draining. It’s taking my time, my energy, everything and I can’t wait to be done with it so I can focus fully on my career.

By the time I was done with dinner, I
sat outside, played music, tried to decompress as I was done with work too at the time. Later, I put on an animation on Netflix. Didn’t even finish it I slept off mid-episode. Woke up in the middle of the night, stumbled to turn off the laptop, and tried to sleep again. But my brain said “nope.” So here I am, writing this at midnight instead of sleeping.

Final verdict on today; Stressful.
Not boring, a little bit chaotic and stressful.

But we move. Tomorrow’s another day.
