I always thought you have to have certain amount of money to be able to invest and save, but earlier this year I discovered you can have as low as #1000 in Nigerian currency to be able to save in a Nigerian brokerage account.

Hive is my first and number one best financial decision second to an investment platform i discovered online through scrolling on tiktok, and is called cowrywise, which I believe is second to non when it comes to investing in mutual funds and buying of stocks in the Nigerian market.

I entered without even knowing the in and out of it fully but no stress because I believe it's for long term and thank goodness I'm getting a hang of it gradually. I'm so glad I stumbled upon that tiktok page because it has actually opened my eyes on the power of inflation, how keeping my money in a savings account in Nigerian bank actually devalues my money as the years go by, but with cowrywise investment app, I know my funds will definitely beat inflation as long as I keep it there.
