Splinterlands Art Contest - Flying Squid🦑🌊⛈️

Hola amigos de la gran comunidad de Alien y de @splinterlands, el día de hoy estoy muy feliz de mostrarles mi entrada a la semana 273 con la carta Flying Squid. La verdad quise hacerle una especie de contexto a esta carta y quise realizarla como si el calamar quisiera agarrar un barco y arrastrarlo consigo hasta lo profundo del mar en un dia muy lluvioso con tormenta. Sin mas preámbulo comencemos.

Hello friends of the great Alien community and @splinterlands, today I am very happy to show you my entry to week 273 with the Flying Squid card. The truth is I wanted to give a kind of context to this letter and I wanted to make it as if the squid wanted to grab a boat and drag it with it to the depths of the sea on a very rainy day with a storm. Without further ado we begin.

Lo primero que hice fue pintar con Aerógrafo todo el fondo colocando entre azul claro y azul oscuro, un poco de blanco y un toque negro en la parte inferior difuminandolo bien, para después comenzar a hacer un boceto de lo que sería el calamar, una vez listo comencé a darle color y es que la verdad quise hacerlo con algunos tonos diferentes.

The first thing I did was paint the entire background with an airbrush, placing between light blue and dark blue, a little white and a touch of black at the bottom, blurring it well, and then I began to make a sketch of what the squid would be, once ready I started to color it and the truth is that I wanted to do it with some different tones.

Una vez listo mi calamar procedí a comenzar a pintar algunas zonas donde estaban sus tentáculos, ahí haría una especie de oleaje y la ola la haria a un lado de la otra esquina. Comencé a dar detalles con Aerógrafo, y con tonos blancos, turquesa y azul, para luego hacer el boceto del barco.

Once my squid was ready, I proceeded to start painting some areas where its tentacles were, there it would make a kind of swell and the wave would move to one side of the other corner. I began to give details with an Airbrush, and with white, turquoise and blue tones, and then made the sketch of the boat.

Luego empecé a pintar el barco con marrón y las velas de azul. Seguí haciendo detalles en el oleaje y en la ola grande que está a un lado para después empezar a realizar los relámpagos o truenos, comencé colocando un tono por debajo azul difuminado bien y después con sombra blanca comencé a realizar los truenos.

Then I started painting the boat with brown and the sails with blue. I continued making details in the waves and in the large wave that is on one side and then began to make the lightning or thunder. I began by placing a blue tone underneath that was well blended and then with white shadow I began to make the thunder.

Por aquí ya había conectado algunos detalles con otros y también cerca del calamar decidí hacer unas burbujas. Y una vez listo pues coloqué mi nombre y listo todo amigos.

Here I had already connected some details with others and also near the squid I decided to make some bubbles. And once ready, I entered my name and that's it, friends.
