Sen. John McCain dies at 81

Senator John Sidnes McCain III or famously known as Sen. John McCain at 4:28 p.m. on August 25, 2018.
He had been diagnosed with a glioblastoma, an aggressive type of brain tumor. Earlier this week his family announced he was discontinuing treatment.
Some of the highlights of his career include his stands against his own party's president, George W. Bush, on strategy for the Iraq war and of course a presidential contender, with his running mate Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska.
