Please note that in this book most often I use the terms “Ouroboros”, “Eris/Discordia” and “Eschaton” without the usual negative connotation. Instead of seeing the Ouroboros as a symbol for eternal recurrence, I see it as a symbol for consciousness and recursive self-modification. In this book Eris refers to the playful and chaotic element of chance that prevents a rigid, ordered and unalterable reality rather than to strife. Eschaton for me is not the end of the world, but the Omega Hypercomputer at the end of time, that generates the multiverse.
