Torch Myrmidon | The Fire Monster That Boosts Your Team

Hi guys how are you all? I hope everyone is doing well. Today I am back with another Splinterlands card review. In this post I am going to talk about Torch Myrmidon

a unique Fire monster that gives you a good mix of support attack and utility. At first its stats may not look very special but once you learn how to use it you will see that it is a very strong and useful monster for Fire teams.

Torch Myrmidon belongs to the Fire Splinter and has a mana cost of 8. This makes it a good choice for medium and high mana battles. At the maximum level it has 3 Ranged Attack 6 Speed 2 Armor and 10 Health. These stats make it a balanced monster with good health high speed and solid survivability. Its high speed also helps it avoid enemy attacks.

If we talk about its price, Level 2 to Level 6 cards are currently available in the market. Their prices range from just 13 cents to $1.63, depending on the card level.

The first ability of Torch Myrmidon is Flank.

This is one of the best support abilities in Splinterlands. When Torch Myrmidon is in the first position the monster behind it gets the Reach ability. Normally melee monsters can only attack from the first position but with Flank the second position melee monster can also attack. This gives your team more damage from the very first round.

Flank also gives you more options while building your team. You do not have to depend on only one frontline attacker. Your second melee monster can also join the fight from the start. This puts more pressure on your opponent and helps you defeat enemy monsters faster. In close battles this extra damage can make a big difference.

The second ability is Close Range.

This ability allows Torch Myrmidon to keep using its ranged attack even when it moves to the first position. Normally ranged monsters cannot attack from the front and become almost useless. Close Range removes this weakness. Even after your main tank is defeated Torch Myrmidon can keep attacking without losing its power.

This makes Torch Myrmidon a very reliable monster because it stays useful during the whole battle. Many ranged monsters stop attacking when they move to the front but Torch Myrmidon keeps fighting until it is defeated.

The third ability is Shatter.

This ability destroys all of the target's armor with one successful attack. It does not matter how much armor the enemy has because Shatter removes it all. This is very useful against teams with heavy armor. Once the armor is gone your other monsters can attack the enemy's health directly.

One of the best things about Torch Myrmidon is its versatility.

It helps melee monsters with Flank keeps attacking with Close Range and removes enemy armor with Shatter. Very few cards can do so many useful things at the same time. It is not only a damage dealer but also a strong support monster.
Torch Myrmidon works very well with Fire summoners that increase Ranged Attack or Speed. More speed makes it even harder to hit. More ranged attack helps it deal more damage after breaking enemy armor. It also works well with strong melee monsters because Flank allows them to attack from the second position.

Even though Torch Myrmidon is a strong card it does have one weakness. It is not very strong against magic teams because Flank and Close Range do not reduce magic damage. That is why it is important to build a balanced team with good support monsters when facing magic attackers.

Overall I think Torch Myrmidon is one of the best and most interesting Fire monsters in Splinterlands. Its combination of Flank Close Range and Shatter makes it useful in many different battles. It supports teammates keeps attacking from the front when needed and removes enemy armor very quickly. These abilities make it a great choice for many Fire lineups.
