OneLoveIPFS: Important Notice

Due to internal team drama that is beyond my control, Hive account@d00k13 has decided to exit the community. Unfortunately, he has also chosen to delete the Discord server despite my offer to take over as the server owner, basically taking down the entire community with it.

Therefore, this is what is happening and going to happen in the next few days or weeks to come:

1. New chat rooms

I have created the new Discord server as the new place for everything related to the service, with the same admins as the legacy server excluding the leaving founding member. The server structure is currently WIP so some things that one may be looking for are probably missing at the moment.

Once the dust settles, I might look into bridging additional platforms (e.g. Matrix) as many reading this here are probably not a fan of Discord and may not wish to use that for communication.

2. Uploader endpoints

The uploader has been moved to https://uploader.oneloveipfs.com, and the corresponding production tusd endpoint is now reachable at https://tusd.oneloveipfs.com. If you're using any of our upload APIs, please update the endpoints in your application accordingly.

3. Avalon endpoints

All Avalon-related endpoints (block explorer and API) will be moved to blocks.techcoderx.com and avalon.techcoderx.com respectively.

4. OneLoveIPFS v3

The development of v3 release of the uploader will continue as planned, although actual release will be highly delayed due to unforeseen personal circumstances (unfortunately it would be impossible to put them into words to explain here).

If a complete rebranding is required as a result of the situation, the new version will be released under the new name instead.

5. Payment accounts

All payments for the hosting service shall be made to Hive account@ipfsuploader.app for HIVE/HBD payments and Hive account@oneloveipfs for payments on Avalon. I'm currently awaiting for the keys for Hive account@oneloveipfs graphene accounts as I currently do not have access to those.

6. IPFS gateway

For performance reasons, our current IPFS gateway (video.oneloveipfs.com) will only serve pinned files (i.e. files uploaded to our service). This is a temporary measure and the ageing server will be replaced before the v3 release.

On another note, the recovery account of this account will be replaced with Hive account@gray00 (previously Hive account@onelovedtube). This operation will take 30 days from the time of transaction.

Update 1 (27/3/2022 06:32 UTC): I now have access to Hive account@oneloveipfs account and have initiated the recovery account replacement process such that this will be the recovery account in 30 days from this transaction. All HIVE/HBD payments shall be made to Hive account@oneloveipfs.
