Elementary: What newbies need to know about steemit

STEEMIT CONCEPTS:
steemit reward comments and posts with secure token of value. Just like other sites like fb; images can be uploaded and hosted on steemit. You can download images there.
Posts and comments can be upvoted by users and authors who get upvoted can receive reward as STEEM and another called STEEM DOLLAR. People are also rewarded for upvoting content which is called CURATING. Vote strength and curating rewards are moved by the amount of steem Power voter has.
Every steemian has a reputation and as a newbie your reputation starts at 25.it is attached after username. Your reputation may either increase or decrease due to your effectiveness.
