Market Friday Back to NYC

A post for Market Friday hosted by dswigle@dswigle, if you haven't followed her yet you should she is one of the kindest and most supportive people here on Hive, a comment from her is like a ray of sunshine on your page.
This is the one tag and challenge that I always make a point of joining, and also look through the posts of others that join the challenge and seeing markets from all around the world.

For this weeks post, I did not want to miss joining the Market Friday so again I delved back into my photo archives for photos I had not shared before that would fit for a post to share and found a few from my walks I used to do in NYC

Starting with the Paramount Theater on Broadway

I never saw a Broadway show at that theater but did go to a few show sin my time there, they sure do such an amazing job of them there and if you ever visit NYC I do suggest you catch a Broadway show if you can

I have bene asked by a few people over the years since i retired and left NYC if I miss it, and I have to say I have mixed thoughts on that, I did enjoy my early morning walks in the city there was always so much to see and new spots to explore, in addition the city is always changing, so in a way I do miss those walks, but that was early morning when the streets were relatively quiet, but that did not last long and then the streets got busy and being a country boy at heart, when the city got busy I honestly hated it, and felt I was in an over populated concrete Jungle

if I had to choose between early morning walks in a city, any city for that matter, and walks on a nice beach, or trail I will choose the beaches and trails always :)

Next up one of the many bars in NYC

I am not sure if Angels Italian Restaurant was still open at the time, but this old faded sign for it caught my eye one day
