A beautiful sunset before Melissa [ENG-ESP]
Hello, lovely community.
Here in Camagüey, we are preparing to welcome Melissa, the third most intense hurricane ever recorded in the eastern region.
I hope 🙏🏼 that the damage will be minimal. And that everyone can stay safe. Much strength to all those who have been impacted by this enormous storm, and strength to our Cuba, because we know that recovery will be difficult 💪.
Amidst the concern and preparations to secure our homes, the sky gave us a beautiful sunset. The whole neighborhood came out to watch it. The colors were so bright, the orange so strong that it was dazzling. It had been a long time since I had seen a sunset like that. I immediately grabbed my camera and tried to capture the best views I could find from the front of the house.

Por acá en Camagüey, nos estamos preparando para recibir a Melissa, el tercer huracán más intenso registrado en la región oriental de nuestro país.
Espero 🙏🏼 que los daños sean mínimos. Y que todos puedan mantenerse a salvo. Mucha fuerza para los que ya se han visto afectados por esta enorme tormenta, y para nuestra Cuba, porque sabemos que la recuperación será difícil 💪.
En medio de la preocupación y los preparativos para proteger nuestros hogares, el cielo nos regaló una hermosa puesta de sol. Todo el vecindario salió a verla. Los colores eran tan brillantes, el naranja tan intenso, que encandilaba. Hacía mucho tiempo que no veía una puesta de sol así. Inmediatamente me puse cámara en mano e intenté capturar las mejores vistas que pude encontrar desde el frente de la casa.
