Growth: It Is Optional.

CHANGE: it is an inevitable fact of life.
However, GROWTH is optional.
To choose growth, get out of the “fixed mindset” and stop giving excuses of why you can’t:
❗️”I can’t do yoga because... I’ve never been flexible.”
❗️”I won’t get that job promotion because... I’m too shy and Carol is more outgoing.”
❗️”I can’t go to college because... I wasn’t good at math in high school.”
❗️”I can’t (insert goal here) because... (insert excuse here).”
A fixed mindset keeps us from improving because we are constantly convincing ourselves that we are the best we will ever be.
But, truth be told:
WE ALL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO REACH NEW HEIGHTS!
You may never be the best in the world, but you CAN be better than you are now!
How? Shift to the growth mindset:
🌀Honor where you currently are
🌀Ask for help
🌀Learn from failures
🌀Give praise for effort, not skill
🌀Try and Try again
Do this, and watch yourself flourish in ways you never thought possible.
Innate talent does not indicate how high one can go in any area. ONLY DETERMINATION AND REGULAR DELIBERATE PRACTICE can propel you into MASTERY.
