Visiting our field after a long time.

I am Tanzim Hasan Sohan . Lungi is the traditional attire of Bengalis, so I wore lungi and rode my younger brother's bicycle to see our fields and our own crops. My country is Bangladesh. Bangladesh is an agricultural country. Its economy, people's livelihood, and main source of income depend on agriculture. Most of the country's people live in villages and their livelihood is linked to agriculture. Rice, jute, tea, and various vegetables and fruits are produced in large quantities here. Agriculture is an important part of Bangladesh's economy and culture. A significant portion of the country's gross domestic product (GDP) comes from the agricultural sector. In addition, agriculture is a major source of rural economy and employment in Bangladesh. According to the Bangladesh National Data Portal, a large portion of the country's total population is directly or indirectly involved in agriculture. Bangladesh's climate and soil are quite suitable for agriculture. Rice, jute, tea, various types of vegetables and fruits are produced here in large quantities. However, agriculture has to face some challenges due to climate change, natural disasters and some other reasons.
There are six seasons in Bangladesh: summer, monsoon, autumn, winter, and spring.
These six seasons are the twelve months of Bengali. Below is a list of the seasons:
Summer: Baishakh and Jaishthya months
Monsoon: Ashadh and Shravan months
Autumn: Bhadra and Ashwin months
Hemant: Kartik and Agrahayana months
Winter: Paush and Magh months
Spring: Falgun and Chaitra months

Our country is a country of six seasons, with different crops grown in each season, such as rice, jute, chillies.

We have a chili plant here.

Here's the pepper and the tree

Jute is an important cash crop in Bangladesh and is called "golden fiber". It is a monsoon plant and its life span is usually 100 to 120 days. Jute fiber is obtained from two main species, white jute Corchorus capsularis and tosha jute Corchorus olitorius.

Some important information about jute is mentioned below:
Uses:
Jute is used to make rope, yarn, sacks, cloth, carpets, etc. Jute sticks are also used for fuel, fencing, and paper making.
Jute plays an important role in the economy of Bangladesh. It is not only a fiber crop, but also has immense importance in agro-industry, pharmaceutical industry, environmental conservation, and as a nutritious vegetable.

The staple food of Bengalis is rice. The staple food of Bengalis is rice. And our rice comes from this paddy plant.

We irrigate the crops from here.

After seeing all our crops, we took a little rest under a tree.
