Sacred San Phra Phums with awesome decorations
Referring to my visit to Suan Mokkh Bangkok a long time ago as I showed you in my old post, at that time I found a large and sacred San Phra Phum at the corner of the road outside Suan Mokkh Bangkok.
There are two San Phra Phum or spirit houses situated in the same area. One is big and the other is smaller. These San Phra Phum are traditional Thai houses made of cement with Thai-style roofs with beautiful decorations. They are located on stilts or high bases.
People built these San Phra Phums to provide a dwelling place for the guardian spirits of the area to protect them from any dangers. (For this case, I think at this corner, several car accidents occurred, so people believe that the spirits can protect them from any accidents.)
In the meantime, people pay respects to the guardian spirits by offering food, flowers, or incense and ask the spirits for good fortune to them.
Apart from those things, you will also see small statues of Buddha, and many statues of zebra, Singha, hen, Naga, horse, etc., placed there.

Another day, I found another San Phra Phum with awesome decorations and amazing sculptures of elephants and horses.
The two giant Singhas at the front door of the building are very attractive.
