Hat decoration

Good Monday to all our creative community!!! I hope this week has been productive for you and that you are doing well!

It so happened that over the past months I have very rarely done needlework. And yet I did small projects. One of them is the black hat.

One of our friends gave us two black hats. He ordered them from some online store and they sent him a lot of hats. I don't know why this happened. In any case, he decided to share with us. But I didn’t like the hat: it looked really sad. And I really didn't like that emblem on the front. So I decided to decorate the hat to my liking. I started with the logo.

To do this, I took the largest button that I had in stock. But still this was not enough. That's why I added lace too.

In the center of the button I added a few beads to make it more interesting to look at.

From the remnants of lace in my supplies, I chose what suited me best and decided to add it to the edge of the hat.

Immediately the hat began to transform: from a sad-looking one to a more festive one.

Sewing was not very convenient since the edges of the hat are very dense and I tried not to have stitches visible on the underside of the hat.

I liked the result. This would be a completely different hat.

But still, something was missing when I looked at my work. And then I thought that I also wanted to add a row of lace.

Now let's make a smile!!!

Overall this is a very easy project but due to the thick fabric it was not easy to sew and my hands got tired quickly. So I worked slowly.

And now my new hat is ready! Agree, it looks completely different! The black sad hat turned into a festive women's hat. I like it a lot better!

Take care of yourself and be healthy!!!
