Muñeca de trapo / Rag Doll

Feliz semana, un saludo especial a mi comunidad #needleworkmonday hoy vengo con un proyecto que hace tiempo no mostraba por aqui, vuelvo con un proyecto de reuso creativo, en este caso es de costura, use maquina de coser, costura a mano, crochet y bordado para laas diferentes partes de este proyecto.

Happy week! A special greeting to my #needleworkmonday community. Today I'm back with a project I haven't shared here in a while. I'm returning with a creative reuse project (upcycling) in this case, a sewing project. I used a sewing machine, hand sewing, crochet, and embroidery for the different parts of this project.

Este es un proyecto de reuso creativo, ya que los materiales, las telas que estoy utilizando, el denim (tela de jeans) viene de pantalones viejos que desarme, y las otras telas son retazos que me regalan costureras de sus proyectos

This is a creative reuse project (upcycled), since the materials, the fabrics I'm using, the denim (jeans fabric) comes from old pants that I took apart, and the other fabrics are scraps that seamstresses give me from their projects

Las formas las hice a ojo y adaptando las piezas a la cantidad de tela disponible, y claro como c¿son muñecas sin patron, tambien cometi errores, corte y cosi pezas que luego toco desarmar y desechar ya que no quedaba de la forma deseada

I made the shapes by eye, adapting the pieces to the amount of fabric available. And of course, since they are dolls without a pattern, I also made mistakes; I cut and sewed pieces that I then had to take apart and discard because they didn't turn out the desired shape.

Para el cabello use trapillo (hilo hecho con tela) con el que hice una cadeneta que cosi a la parte posterior de la cabeza, las caras fueron bordadas por mi mamá

For the hair I used t-shirt yarn (yarn made from fabric) with which I made a chain that I sewed to the back of the head, the faces were embroidered by my mom

Aún en proceso, quizas les haga vestidos, les falta el cabello pero queria mostrar estos avances hoy, tambien para pedir opnion, a las maravillosas y creativas manos que hacen vida en esta comunidad, cuentenme como hacen sus muñecas que le pondrian

Still a work in progress, maybe I'll make dresses for them. They're missing their hair, but I wanted to show these updates today, and also to ask for opinions from the wonderful and creative hands that make up this community. Tell me how you make your dolls and what you would add to them.
