WHERE IS THY FIRST LOVE?

Go back to the way you use to love before I heard the voice in my ear.

This is my lover we have dine and wine together, I have promise him so much that he have my trust.

You know, one day we went out on a date. After talking for so long.

My lover looks deeply into my eyes and asked me.

Do you love me? My thought if I didn't why will I be following you all this while if I didn't.

I answer Yes I do

He asked again the second time.

Sweetheart did you love me?
What I'm I missing here, I said sincerely to him.

I love you Sweet.

Then he is about to ask the third time.

Bhet why? What have I done wrong. Tears welled up in my eyes.

Soon the tears started dropping. But we have journey together for 3years.

We have gone through thick and thin. My actions should tell you I do love you.

I told him my Love and Lord, you know I love you.

Then he told me "Always proof it in your actions".

Fast forward to yesterday. We are walking together in the market.

Then I heard people rushed to wards us, Thief,Thief they are pointing at my husband.

I quickly escape into the crowd. I didn't want them to arrest us together.

My Love started looking around for me. But I didn't want him to see me.

Kai! I closed my eyes till they carried him.

I quickly turned back to go home. One young child called me as I was going.

I have once seen you together with that Man that was just arrested now.

I quickly told him, I didn't know him.

As I left the child, I started thinking about my Love and what I have just did, the reality hit me.

This is the person have said I love so much. I started crying.

Then I started crying so much and ask for forgiveness.

It Easter's season , some of us have left our first Love.

The Jesus Christ you one said you loved ,now the story is another thing.

Our actions doesn't seems to correlate with our confession of love for Jesus.

It's another season for us to retrace our step back to the cross.

To the altar where we say Yes to our FIRST LOVE.
