Fern Family.
Ferns have been encircling our home and are spread everywhere; from the garden to the barn. These are most neglected and considered bushy in the garden or in farmlands. Maybe because of its non-flowering or the consideration of poisonous in most cases. These mini plants are places to hide out and play for mini birds around the area as well. As the sun was about to set, the sun rays shredding through the bushes lighted up the small fernland.
The edible ones are made into vegetables. The small-soft stems(young) fiddleheads are boiled and cooked. It is a widely popular vegetable in Nepal. And, one of my favorite food as well.
I just realized from the study that they are good for the soil and considered medicinal plants in most cases. One of the plants belonging from ages; it shows the biological importance as well
When the sun was about to set, the rays shine so beautifully on these plants. That I couldn't stop and capture the photographs to share with you all.
You don't always need to bear flowers to cherish the outer world. Sometimes, it's enough if you energize the soil you belong to. Just like the Ferns
