NEXT GENERATION NISSAN Z CAR ENGINE?

(

There's been nothing new on the next generation Z car (ignore those silly crossover rumors gents ) although, engine wise we might already know and understand what the 400z(place holder not actual name duh.) is packing underneath its hood.  Also, a moment of silence for the Mitsubishi Eclipse for it has now been  butchered into a rather... drab CUV. Rest in Peace oh noble stallion (it was actually named after horse believe it or not)!

Exhibit A : Infiniti  Q60 RedSport400 (Luxury Nissan Branch)

!(

Specs : 400 HP(6400RPM) & 350 lb-ft(1600RPM)

0-60 in 4.5 seconds  Top Speed 155 MPH

Yes, that pretty red coupe on the thumbnail is packing this very engine under it's bonnet, looks rather cramped doesn't it? A VERY peppy 3.0 liter TT V6 is powering it and as the specs state, it's no slouch . For reference, the current 370z's engine (VQ37HR) in top trim (NISMO) produces 350HP and 276 lb-ft of torque . The RedSport's engine is up 50HP and 74 Lb-ft of torque compared to the NISMO 370z. If Nissan decided to stop developing their NA VQ line of engines, the best alternative would be for them to use the Red Sport 400s engine as the 400z's power-plant since it's already been tested and it is already being used in a production car. Going turbo charged has happened before to the Z line of sports cars, does anyone remember the 280ZX Turbo or the 300ZX Turbo? There's also been rumors on about a hybrid system but, I doubt Nissan could effectively develop their own hybrid system when they couldn't even get their GTR LM NISMO RaceCar Hybrid system to work . What do you think? Will Nissan go turbo or will they stay NA? Let me know in the comment section below.

I don't usually do stuff like this but, I was bored today and figured why not give it a go .
