My little girl can make some of the cutest faces when she's in my lap. We have an afternoon routine to sit together for a short rest before I make dinner.

Here she is waiting patiently for me to settle down in my chair.

As soon as I sit, she jumps up onto my lap for her afternoon nappy.

Mika is the only dog I've owned that has her own schedule and she reminds me what time of day it is.

This is her pose when asking me for a belly rub. How could I ever refuse such sweetness?

Of course, after her nap, she is fully rejuvenated and ready to play. George, her favorite stuffed companion is being offered to me for some tug of war. I just adore her happy face.

On another day, after some fresh snow had fallen, we went outside to play fetch with her new squeaker ball. By the time we were through playing, she was full of little snowballs and had to go into the laundry tub to wash them off her legs and belly. Then it was time for another afternoon nap with me. ♥
