Hello, my lovely friends!

It's good to see you all again tonight. I'm finally home and ready to relax and unwind after a long day of selling food. After closing the shop and packing up, it's time for what I've been waiting for: writing this article to share the positive experiences and energy of the day with you all.

Today was truly fun and incredibly rewarding! It was another day filled with joy as I shared the authentic flavors of Southern Thai cuisine with international tourists who visited the area.

The Beginning of the Day: From Ingredient Preparation to the Restaurant Front

This morning, I woke up to my usual routine. Running a Southern Thai restaurant in the heart of Koh Phangan starts early in the morning to prepare the freshest ingredients. This includes cooking spicy Southern Thai curries, sour curries, coconut milk curries, and many other dishes.

I opened the restaurant a little later than usual today, around 10:00 AM. But when I arrived at the Pantip Market, my spirits immediately lifted. Foreign customers were waiting eagerly, wanting to taste the rich and unique flavors of our Thai and Southern Thai food. Seeing that made all the tiredness from preparing everything disappear instantly!


🌶️ Signature Dishes That Win Over Foreign Customers
Today, our menu is especially busy, particularly with our authentic Southern Thai dishes, which we prepare with our utmost care.
Smooth and tender Southern Thai steamed fish curry (Ho Mok Tai): Served in bite-sized foil cups, topped with rich, creamy coconut milk, and garnished with red chili peppers and chopped kaffir lime leaves. This dish is a favorite among foreigners because it's easy to eat and has a well-balanced flavor.
Spicy minced pork stir-fry (Kua Kling): Stir-fried until dry, with fragrant herbs like turmeric and lemongrass. A particular favorite among spicy food lovers.
Crispy turmeric-fried fish: Freshly fried, with crispy skin and tender flesh. It pairs perfectly with our hot and spicy curry.

🥗 Today's Delicious Meal for the Street Vendor
After a long, tiring day at work, I needed to recharge with some good food. For dinner tonight, I chose a large bowl of fresh salad (Picture 2), filled with crisp lettuce, tomatoes, and a rich, creamy dressing. It's a light and easy-on-the-stomach dish, yet packed with nutrients, perfect for refreshing my body after standing in front of the hot stove.
