Is this a Goldback or a Foldback!?
Goldbacks are fun! They are artistly done, they're 24k (pure) gold, and, overall, they are made to be used as currency. While they are not, "legal tender" in the US, they do work as a voluntary currency valid for barter, trade, & discounts.
This means any business can decide to accept them for goods and services, and many do in the states Goldbacks have been issued. In fact, there are over 200 businesses listed in Utah that accept Goldbacks.

I was thinking about using these which led me to think that one would have to carry them around, like cash, in a wallet or pocket or wherever you carry your cash. To that end I decided to fold one of these up and carry it around.
Like #pocketsivler, I can take this out and show folks and talk about gold 😎
So I am going to carry this one around with me and see how it handles daily use.
