It has come to my attention that I am doing yoeman's work as dCity president:

• Taxes, lower ✔️
• Payouts, higher ✔️
• dCitizens, happy pleased writing open letters ✔️

Let's take a quick look at the progression of the current tax rate under the @summertooh administration.

You may remember the oppressive tax structure I walk into yesterday that was just squashing the noobs and peaceniks hard earned SIM into the pockets of the rich. You also may have noticed that in addition to abolishing the 10% war tax I have boosted everyone's chance of discovering the highly sought-after Lake background card by flipping the art tax switch.

To offset the increased art tax I lowered the basic tax by 5%. This 5% decrease leaves some wiggle room that we will obviously need as folks continue to liquidate SIM earnings and drive the income tax ever higher, as evidenced by the 3% increase over the last 24 hours :(

I will continue to monitor the situation

and will likely flip more switches as this historic term progresses.

For now just remember to hodl that SIM and if HIVE pumps don't sell SIM...BUY IT!
