Tomato growth records 13~18 Jun.トマトの生育記録6/13~6/18【ENG/JPN】

【2023.6.13】

The mini-tomatoes were strung up and induced.
It was bent by wind and rain last week, but no trace of it can be found.

One more tomato fruit has grown.

The flowerpots in which the tomatoes are planted collect water at the bottom. I don't like rotting water pooling.I don't want rotting water to accumulate, as it could spread disease-causing bacteria.Mini tomato fruits are visible.

The 'zucca' is on the left. The zenith stem is split in two. This may be the reason why it does not grow very tall.

It has been moved to a new location.It used to face south, but from today it is facing east, by the wall.
It could have stayed in the south-facing area, but I wanted it to be in a place with morning sunlight.

I sowed the seeds.

Edible honeysuckle. Keratotheca triloba. Cleome. Butterfly peas. Collarette-flowered dahlias. Nasturtium. Basil. Cosmos.

今日の日本、東海の山の中はあつーい1日でした。
自宅の東側の窓に日よけをつけましたがちょっと動くだけで滝のように汗が噴き出す。
そんな一日でした。

ミニトマトに8mmの支柱を立て誘引しました。折れ癖もあんまりわからない感じに。

真ん中の中玉トマトの実が少しずつですが膨らんでいます。すこし濃い色もつき始めましたね。

この野菜用ポットですが、底面給水もできる仕様なので底に水が溜まります。
個人的には水やり頻度が減って嬉しい…というのはあまりなくて、水が腐ると菌が増えそうなのが嫌で、水をやると傾けて水を捨てています。折れ曲がりミニトマトにも実が。房はそんなに長くないようですね。

【2023.6.17】

一番左の「ズッカ」ですが気が付いたら天頂の茎が二股に割れています。二股になったせいか、横の二つほど伸びが鈍いように見えます。

トマトたちを朝日に当てたくて、南向きの場所から東向きの場所へ移動しました。鉢に噛ませている平たい石は鉢を傾けて少しでも排水されないかな～と壁に向かって傾斜をつけてみました。

時期的にはギリギリですが種蒔きしました。

食用ほおずき、ケラトテカトリロバ、クレオメカラーファウンティンミックス、バタフライピー、ダリアコラレット咲きミックス。

ナスタチウム。

バジルとコスモスシーシェルミックス。
真夏や初秋を彩ってくれる花や野菜たち、楽しみですね～。
