Sometimes I Need to Ground Myself!

There is nothing like driving back roads in the country!
I find it so peaceful.

Living on my little off grid homestead has many advantages and I'm grateful for the lifestyle but sometimes I have to venture into town...
Like yesterday!!

When I am coming home

and I turn off the main road that leads to our dirt road onto this little country road

I always take a deep breath and calm runs through me!

So often we get caught up in the hectic pace of the rat race and we really need to ground ourselves. It's a great reminder for me as to why I choose this lifestyle.... Everytime I go to town.

Y'all know it's always something on the homestead.... Today it's chores in the rain
