They knew to invest in oil, saved their money, build cool looking property, built good roads, made reclaiming land look cool, have a Burgerfuel at one of the palms, have a police force that drives supercars and according to Wikipedia (I just looked it up - Here) the world's busiest airport, sitting on its own island a Hotel that I think might be the planets most ridiculous looking, of course they want a Hyperloop!
