A trip to Ujong Seke Beach || Let's see the difference between 2025 and 2026
Good evening to all my traveling friends who always share their travel posts here.
Hi friends, wherever you are, how are you tonight? I hope you're having a great day and that your activities here are going smoothly.
In my post tonight, I'll be discussing a tourist spot in my neighborhood. This tourist spot is very famous and boasts extraordinary beauty in 2025 and 2024.
I'm quite curious because a few months ago, the Aceh region was hit by quite severe flooding, and of course, tourist attractions were also affected. So, I wanted to see what those once beautiful beaches look like now.
Yesterday, I was traveling with my friend. I invited her to see the tourist spots and get some fresh air during the day. Coincidentally, my friend agreed to go to the beach, and without further ado, we were off.
As usual, I always share photos of my travel route first so you can see the full picture of my trip yesterday.
This is what the road looked like yesterday, and the weather was quite sunny.
As time went by, we arrived at the Ujong Seke Beach tourist spot. The first thing I did was park my motorcycle properly and find a place to sit with my friend. When I arrived, I was a little disappointed to see that many of the stalls selling goods at the tourist spot had been destroyed by the flood. I noticed that some stalls were still operating, intact and unaffected by the flood. Perhaps because they were on higher ground, they weren't affected.
So, this is what the hut where I stopped looked like.
I immediately sat on the bench at the hut, even though there were no people selling anything, but I wanted to enjoy it for a moment. I noticed the bench in the hut was still in pretty good condition. Perhaps the person hadn't started selling on the beach yet, and wasn't ready to reopen until 2026. Perhaps in the future, they will reopen as usual.
This is what the benches on the beach looked like.
After feeling satisfied sitting on the bench and feeling the gentle breeze, I immediately walked along the beach. I felt quite comfortable and peaceful. Although most of the beach there had been destroyed, the beach's beauty was extraordinary and remained the same as it was in 2025.

Even though the beach was flooded, I saw that there were still a lot of people visiting it. Of course, those who came from far away chose the nice cottages located at this tourist spot.
Then, I immediately returned with my friend to check the road I often use to get to the beach. It turned out that the road I was taking had been cut off. It was incredibly affected by the flooding; the road connected to the Ujung Batu River, a once-magnificent tourist spot that was now completely destroyed.
This is what the road looked like.
Okay, friends, that's all I can tell you about the tourist spot I visited yesterday. I hope you enjoy the photos I've shown above. Although I was a little disappointed, I also found peace at this beach because its beauty is still extraordinary.
All the photos I show here were taken with my camera.
