The Past; The Future

It was just a normal day during my undergraduate program. We were discussing about upcoming exams, and two of us were not taking it serious. Because, both of us already had notes prepared during the lectures; plus we already had read the syllabus - mostly novels. So, we knew it was going to be an easy task. At that time, I was writing on Medium. I was just newbie to the writing. Though, I could communicate well with respect to my thoughts and ideaology. But, the problem was the language barrier. I found it hard to express the same thoughts in English. I still do, but I have grown up well, thanks to Hive platform. During the exams talks, we suddenly started to discuss about: the future. Not to sound cool, but I never had a plan about my future, I still don't. I just know one thing, I want to be successful. Purchase an Audi A6 just because I saw one in my childhood, and since then, I am loyal to it. However, there is one thing, success for me is the one I wish for, not the one this society implements.

Back to the topic, everyone started sharing their plans. Majority of them were just going for the competitive exams - a high rewarding post with lots of perks in my country. The passing ratio is approximately 2%, but the reward results in you joining the top 10% elite class. Of course, the money is not legal and mostly corrupted one. But who cares, in this society. When my turn came, I said the same thing: I will go for competitive exam. Lol! Why? I just do not like much to share my thoughts with everyone, and here I am doing on a public platform. But, no one knows who storicious really is. I just told them that I am writing on Medium, and at that time, I was also doing part-time tutoring. So, it was just a normal life for me. Then, there was this angelic girl, who said that I should try Ecency. I accepted her words, because she was the one who said those words. And guess what, here I am; but she left it a long ago. She helped me a lot with everything. She was the one who created my account via another beautiful person. She even helped me with my first few posts.

Now that she is gone, and is busy with her life and me with mine. We do not talk more often, as I am the kind of person who does not talk on daily basis, but when we meet or talk, I am the same me for you. It is been a year and a half, I do not know how to thank her for this beautiful experience. Just because of her, I found this beautiful platform which really shaped me well with everything. My thought process has changed; I found kind people; I found those people who disagree with you, but purely in a manner; I am learning here; I am earning a handsome amount; and most importantly, I share what I think without any specific judgement.

Now with the present and the future.

My goals on Hive are pretty simple. Firstly, I am here for the long-term run.

At present, my goal is to achieve 6,000 HP by the end of this year. I might not be able to achieve it, because of the current stats. However, I am optimistic about it, and I will be giving it my best. Then, there are few tokens which I will be holding. But, I am bit confused whether to focus solely on my Hive Power, or should I also take tokens along the run. I do trade few tokens, but a minor sum nothing special. I guess, back in the mind, I have already decided for the HP. Still, with five more months to go, I might change my decision.

L-earning
I specifically use this term to specify my Hive run. Yes, I am here to earn, but learning part comes first. I am staunch supporter of this concept: "Good writers were first good readers". I believe the more you read, the more you discuss, the more you think, the more you will be able to write.

Community and Me
What does one need? Like, my growth also helps the whole community as general. My HP is not only beneficial for me, but for the overall community. I am giving and earning at the same time. Maybe that is the main reason behind my HP strategy.

Consumerism
More importantly, my main target is to achieve the $0.020 threshhold. I would love to support the one who make genuine interaction. Curation is good, but from my personal observation, I think Hive really needs to promote this consumerism. Indeed, there are some good services - such as commentrewarder and top comment - but much more is needed to be done.

In the end, just yesterday, I wrote a post, and I mentioned that I want to live a Golden Boy (reference from an anime) sort of life. But, one thing I am sure of is: no matter how many jobs I change, Hive is permanent for me.

I generally prefer to keep my personal life private, but today I felt like yapping and writing about it. I think that my post should have something, for someone, to at least learn a single thing. So I do not often write about it. However, I believe every platform and community has a role to play in helping Hive grow, and this initiative is a commendable effort toward strengthening the ecosystem. I will surely be checking out Suseona Blog platform, especially I still have to use the AI, and see the magic, it can do. Keep it up guys, appreciated!
