Upgrade

Those of you that are familiar with the DC comics character, Cyborg, may have immediately recognized this piece. Also keep in mind this was created with mixed media. Perhaps I should have taken this pic in full sun to deliver the full effect of its shiny metallic surface. In any case, this proved to be a successful experiment, soon to be exhibited in a gallery. Unfortunately, this pic does not provide the proper visual representation and has to be viewed in person.
I called this piece Upgrade due to this new form my art practice has evolved into. It also refers to the characterization of Cyborg.
As the digital age continues to become implemented into everyday life, man will have to uphold their humanity while interfacing with their artificial intelligence.
Question, can anyone tell me what he is signaling with his hand?
